Q. What are the fees for using Server Subs?
Fees are deducted when a subscription is purchased.
Guilded fees: 2.5% of processed payments + Stripe Fees.

US: 2.9% + 0.30c
EU: 1.4% + 0.30c
AU: 1.75%+A$0.30 for domestic cards - 2.9% + A$0.30 for International cards
Q. When do I receive the money for my subs?
A. Payments are processed automatically on the 1st of every month
Q. Are there any fees for payouts I receive?
A. Yes, a small percentage of 0.25% + $0.25 is taken at each payout.
Q. Do my server subs automatically renew?
A. Yes, subscriptions will renew automatically at the end of the billing period.
Q. What happens if a subscriber upgrades or downgrades their tier?
A. If a tier is increased, the subscriber will only be charged the difference between the new tier and the current tier. Downgrading a tier, members will remain on the higher tier until the end of the current billing period as it has already been purchased. The new tier price will take effect from the start of the new billing cycle.
Upgrading a Tier: Current sub: Copper Tier at $5 and wants to upgrade to the Silver Tier at $10 - $5 would be charged when upgrading, and the total charged for the billing period is $10.
Suppose a member decreases their tier during a billing period. In that case, they will continue until the end of that billing period on their current tier and move to the reduced tier at the new billing period.
Downgrading a Tier: Current sub: Silver Tier at $10 and wants to reduce to Copper Tier at $5 - no charge will be made when changing tier. $ 5 will be charged at the start of the new billing period.
Q. What happens if I change the price of a tier while someone is subscribed?
A. If the cost increases, the subs will be canceled at the end of the billing period, and members will need to re-sub.
Q. What happens if a subscriber cancels?
A. If a subscriber cancels, their tier will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Q. Is it safe to make a payment using my card on Guilded?
A. Yes, Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
Q. Does Guilded hold any of my payment details
A. No, all financial information is held securely by Stripe. Guilded does not have access to this information.
Q. What if a subscriber asks for a refund?
A. Subscribers are charged immediately for their first payment and then automatically charged every month on the same day. If they wish to cancel their subscription, they must do so before one month from their last payment. Since Guilded only provides the platform for which payments made between server owners and subscribers, we do not process refund requests. Subscribers who would like to request a refund may do so directly with the server admin, but server admins are not obligated to accept these requests.
