Keybinds not working
Troubleshooting Keybind Issues in Voice Channels
Are your Whispers, Broadcasting, or Push to Talk keybinds not responding in Guilded voice channels? This is usually related to system permissions or interference from other applications. Here’s how to get things working again:
Common Fixes
-
Close Third-Party Apps
Some third-party software—like overlays, screen recorders, or other communication tools—can block or override your keybinds. Close any unnecessary apps and test your keybinds again. -
Check Firewall Permissions (Windows)
Your firewall may be preventing Guilded from capturing input correctly.- Open Windows Security and go to Firewall & Network Protection.
- Click Allow an app through the firewall.
- Find Guilded in the list.
If the boxes beside it are unchecked:- Click Change settings at the top.
- Tick both Private and Public for Guilded.
- Click OK to save.
-
Refresh Guilded
After adjusting settings, restart the Guilded Desktop App to ensure the changes take effect.
Still Not Working?
- Try running Guilded as Administrator: Right-click the Guilded shortcut and select Run as administrator. This can help with permissions on some systems.
- Check for hotkey conflicts: If another app is using the same keybind, change it in Guilded via Settings > Keybinds.

💬 FAQs
Q: Do keybinds work in browser or just the desktop app?
A: Keybinds like Push to Talk and Whispers only work in the Guilded desktop app. They’re not supported in browser.
Q: Why do my keybinds stop working randomly?
A: This can happen if another app steals focus or reassigns hotkeys. Try closing background apps or reassigning the keybinds in Guilded.
