How to Set Up the XP Bot on Guilded

The XP Bot rewards your most active members with XP whenever they participate in your server.
It’s a fun way to encourage engagement, and you can even assign custom role rewards based on level.

How to Add the XP Bot

1. Click the caret button next to your server name.
2. Select Manage bots from the menu.
3. Click XP Bot from the list.
4. Click Add bot to enable it in your server.
5. Once added, the XP Bot will automatically award XP based on member activity.

How to Customize XP Flows

1. Click the Flows tab inside the XP Bot panel.
2. Click the menu button (⋮) next to a flow, such as List item created.
3. Click Edit to adjust the XP values.
4. Change the XP to give field to your preferred value.
5. Select the recipient of the XP if needed (e.g., the user who triggered the action).
6. Click Save, then Save changes to confirm.

You can also change who receives the XP by adjusting the recipient from the drop-down list.

Add Level-Based Role Rewards

1. Go to your Server Settings.
2. Select Level rewards from the sidebar.
3. Click Add a level reward.
4. Choose a role from the drop-down list.
5. Set the level required to earn the role (default is level 5).
6. Click Confirm to save it.

You can view XP requirements for each level in this menu.

How to Check Member Levels

Right-click on any member’s name in the server.
Their profile card will display their XP level and any level-based roles they’ve unlocked.

• You can clone flows and tweak them to award XP for actions like chatting, creating events, or posting in docs.
• Make sure the XP Bot has permission to act in any channel where XP events are triggered.
