How to Create a Calendar Channel on Guilded

Calendar channels are perfect for scheduling events, coordinating game nights, and keeping everyone in sync. Here's how to create one from scratch.

Create a Calendar Channel

1. Click the + icon next to Channels

2. Select Calendar as the channel type

3. Give your channel a name (e.g. "Raid Schedule", "Events")

4. Click Create

Your new Calendar channel will appear in the channel list or inside the category you created it in.

Set Your Server Timezone

Your calendar events follow the server timezone, so it’s important to make sure it’s accurate.

1. Go to Server Settings > Overview

2. Find the Timezone setting

3. Click and select your correct timezone from the dropdown list

This ensures events show up at the correct time for your community.

Note: Users will still see events in their local time — setting the server timezone just makes sure the default is accurate when creating events.
