How to Create an Event in a Calendar Channel
Once your calendar channel is set up, you can start adding events to keep your community informed and organized.
Create an Event
You have two ways to create a new event:

Click the + icon on a specific date in the calendar view

Or click the + icon in the top right corner of the Calendar channel
Then:

Give your event a name

Choose the date and time
-
Select if it should repeat (recurring events)

Pick a color to help visually organize events

Add a description with more details (optional)

⚙️ Advanced Event Options
Click the Advanced tab to access additional settings:

Private Event – Only visible to you and invited members
-
Allow RSVPs – Let members confirm if they’re attending

Limit Attendance – Cap event size (up to 100 attendees)

Restrict Roles – Only certain roles can RSVP
-
Form on RSVP – Add a custom form to collect info
Once you're done, click Create to publish the event.

Q: Can I edit an event after I’ve created it?
A: Yes, just click the event in the calendar and select Edit.
Q: Can I make an event visible to only certain people?
A: Yes, use the Private toggle and invite specific members.
Q: Do recurring events show up in future months?
A: Yes, they will appear on all applicable dates based on your recurrence settings.
