Forums
Forums are a great way to spark discussions, collect feedback, and keep memories alive in a structured, easy-to-follow format. You can even share topics across channels or servers to broaden your reach.
How to Create a Forum Channel
- Click the + button to create a new channel
- Select Forums
- Give your forum a name
- Click Create
Create Your First Topic
- Click inside the new forum to start a topic
- Add your content, include text, files, images, polls, and more
- Click Create to publish your topic
Share Your Forum Topic
- Click the ... menu on your forum post or click the Share button
- Select Share topic
- Choose the destination channel
- Add a message
- Click Share
Shared forum posts will display a preview in the destination channel. You can also copy the post link to share elsewhere, just click Copy link, and it will be copied to your clipboard.
🛠️ Additional Actions on Topics
- Edit topic – Click the post, then select Edit topic to make changes
- Pin topic – Keep important topics visible at the top
- Lock topic – Prevent replies, great for info-only posts
- Move to channel – Move a topic to a different forum
- Delete topic – Permanently remove the topic
