Role icons

Adding custom icons to your server roles is a game-changer. It not only adds a visual punch that makes roles instantly recognizable, but it also allows you to tailor your server to reflect your unique community vibe. You'll find members more involved when their user experience is both fun and clear. And let's not forget the handy organization aspect: with the highest role icon displayed, it's easier to grasp the hierarchy at a glance, even when roles aren't obvious. It's all about adding that extra flair and functionality to your server.

You can upload an image up to 25 MB or an emote, including animated emotes.

For our example, we are going to use an animated emote. 

Click Choose emote 

When the emote selector pops up, you can pick the emote you'd like to use for your role icon.

Once selected, the emote will appear next to the role's name.

Click Save changes.

The selected emote will now be visible next to the member's name in the member list and within the chat channels.
