Lists - Nest and Organize List Items

Learn how to nest and organize list items in Guilded using drag and drop. Nesting related tasks helps structure your list channel visually and makes it easier to manage sub-tasks, projects, and progress at a glance.

Nest List Items

1. Hover over the list item you want to nest.

2. Click and hold the item, then drag and drop it underneath another task.

3. Release your mouse - the item will now be nested under the parent task.

You can collapse or expand nested groups for easier viewing.

Q: Can I nest more than one level deep?

A: Technically yes, you can nest more than one level deep. However, only the first level of nesting is visibly indented

A: Yes, you can drag nested items within their group or move them back to the top level.

A: No, all task features like notes, threads, and checkboxes work the same whether nested or not.
